ALL New accounts get reactivate message

Hello.
Since last week i got for all account reactivate message. Before it was not problem.

I believe Christmas ban wave is over.

Some other says when ebay update their TC ( yesturday ebay sent emails about changes from 8th april ) then there is some “ cleaning “

Any other thoughts? 🤔

Yesturday i got reactivate message after first listing ( 2$ ) in 10min. Have called to ebay, they put me on hold while pulling up account details, in same time i got email second about account suspended.

Others got permanent ban on phone, they can not reinstate.

Some of them they reinstate.

Never had asked for ID.

here it is better to continue opening accounts so that a portion comes through , it is unlikely it is a problem with your setup

But this cleaning time is always around end of the year. December isn’t ?

I think it was because your accounts are not old enough.

I did get all of my accounts for ID and selfie after seller account set up. Another weird thing.....

Ebay has had their head up their azz this whole year.

It's when they started implementing their stupid Ai bots.

I just got two reactivate today which I haven't gotten since the end of february.

You think this is now new normal ?
Some others says March always had those reactivate messages in place, some other say it will last till 8th of aprill when new TC will be in place.

I just think it is an up and down thing.

There are weeks where I don't get suspensions, reactivates and listing removals.

THan all of a sudden, the next week they all hit at once.

I think they are testing crap, but doing it the wrong way.

Yeah, same for me. Those account cannot last even for auction ( 7 day ) period.

Hope this will end soon…

make an account, browse the site for a week, don't sell anything.

then after 7+ days, list an item for 10$.

try that.

Saijin speaks truth - I would take it easy and browse for awhile, then list a low value item like he said...

Always look for low-cost products that sell not so quickly and you list new ones little by little with greater value and that do sell faster

has anyone tested out saijin's method yet?

SaiJin 04-09-2024 07:17 PM

Re: ALL New accounts get reactivate message

Just to be transparent , most of the time I actually let the account sit for 2-3 weeks and just browse.

But I said 7 days if you need to make a living NOW.

I've been doing it since 10 years ago and I haven't changed my ways really....

I'd guess you are rushing them.
You're either listing too soon or too many products.

Start playing with the mobile phone number. Find a different source.

Either that or the IP you are using.

I am using virtual machine , with mobile hotspot and real sim , and still getting suspended or reactivate, I open a buyer account, build history for 30 day and then register seller account , still no luck , any tips would be very much appreciated

Name and address are different for each account? When you start selling, what do you list first?

macbookpro 11-27-2024 11:50 AM

Re: ALL New accounts get reactivate message

always name and address are different, brand new sim number, and always list used item nothing expensive, £10-15 item and always get suspended or reactivated, I always call them after and hardly any account gets reinstated. any advice will be very much appreciated

Yes that is a huge thing right now. eBay tracks behavior with AI now hence all those reactivations people are getting more now.

It helps from my own findings and few others - nothing is 100% but you need other solid setup of the account.

List your steps for discussion.
