So apparently it is 6 months now? OR MORE? unsure if she meant to say or less or what? This is crazy, literally had a account banned last year and got paid out in 45 days...

Usually it takes exact 60 days.

May be it is different in Europe,in USA,buyer can file chargeback within 6 months,in some countries,up to 12 months

It’s changed now it’s 170 days until you get funds back from account as long as it’s real. If it’s stealth info and failed docs you won’t be entitled to funds.

Thats crazyyyy. But @ other people, yes I am USA, but literally less than a year ago my last banned account paid out in 45 days :/ eBay is starting to get annoying now, still not near amazon bad, but we're way past the golden days.

that is another confirmation of my theory that ebay decided to build a second paypal after selling the original paypal for a lot of money

a lot of features on MP remind of paypal , probably they have same people working there

if it is so they will expand MP to an online payment system at some point

Do keep in mind that we are in different countries so what may apply to 1 may not to another.

TO me it seems that eBay UK is tougher than USA.

Ebay spun off Paypal,it did not sell Paypal.
MP is managed by a Dutch co called Ayden,it has been in existence for many years,I believe it also serves Etsy.

agent is not right as ebay received billions for paypal , obviously they would have received less if paypal had already been removed from ebay as it would have been reduction of revenue

Ebay set up Billpoint with Wells Fargo Bank so buyer could use credit card to pay sellers,before Billpoint,sellers would take cash,money order,personal check.
Then Paypal moves in and offered $10 if you open an account and another $10 for referring someone to sign up with PAYPAL,finally Ebay just bought Paypal and retired Billpoint.
Then Ebay is no longer a growth stock and to beef up profit,they decide to spin off Paypal and use Ayden instead,by doing so,Ebay is able to collect a few pennies more from each transaction.
I dont know if Ebay profits from the spinoff,it should be in its annual report if there is any gain or losses doing so.
Billpoint is worthless,just a few clerks managing the desk and many sellers were scammed when buyer used stolen credit cards,some retails stores which sell designer gowns were scammed by an Eastern European buyer,one store was completely wiped out,they hired a lawyer to go after Ebay,I dont know the outcome.
Paypal went thru its own learning curve as well with Russian scammers .
