Curious would changing a phone number to and 1 day old ebay account flag the account??

It could. Do you need to really do it?
If you need to then you just have to do it.

1 day old account - changing any registration info including phone number is likely to flag the account unfortunately...

I changed mine recently ,not a problem.
But then my account is old

trying to figure something out to overcome this reactive message, will test it shortly and I think its more phone number related because its been 48hrs and I haven't got it yet
