Ebay notice - Your payouts are on hold until you update your account details
 

Had a banned account 12 years ago, created a new one about 2 years ago and have been selling fine with all real info. I sell infrequently, and just listed three items for $120USD each and all three sold quickly.

Now I have the dreaded "Your payouts are on hold until you update your account details" notice. My account is fine, but I can't get payouts until I verify the bank account I've been withdrawing to the entire time I've had this account. It's asking me to verify my bank details with test deposits, and then to verify the amounts.

This seems a little less worrisome than other holds, but making sure from anyone's experience that I should just verify some test deposits and I should be OK.

You have no choice but to verify if you want your money.

this means nothing , just verify the deposits

you would have a bigger problem if they asked to upload ID as it usually happens when verification failed

Thanks, guys. I confirmed the deposit amounts and it looks like I'm good to go. Seemed like more of a banking than account issue. Hopefully I never get any other verification steps. Sigh.

Same thing happened to me. I was getting my payout till they wanted me verify and I chose trial deposits. Payout resumed for about a week and I was restricted and asked to upload ID.

They must have experienced more fraud these days if proving you have access to the bank account is not good enough??
I wonder why they dont just ask for our fingerprints??

that is not because of micro deposits , they could not verify your personal details , ID upload means failed verification most of the time

verifying the test deposits just say you have access to the bank account,same with 2 factor veification,it just mean you have access to that cell phone.

Yes, in a standard procedure for account verification.
but the only problem at this point would be that your account is secretive, if it is secretive you must find a service seller who can make a good bank statement for you.
