How long till i get paid after suspension
 

hey folks

not been around much as ive been navigatine ebay pretty well lately and have had no issues

BUT......i just found the login details from an old account with some nice feedback on so i used it to sell an item

the item sold and the buyer is happy but before i could get paid the account got suspended

i didnt bother to ask why as they always give you a BS excuse but its been a month now and i havent been paid out

How long are ebay keeping people waiting these days to get paid from a suspended account...???

is it still 6 months like it used to be even thou the item is past the 30 day returns guarentee...??

when you account was suspended,did Ebay give you any indicatiion when you will get the money?

none whatsoever

in the past you would have had to wait for 6 months, but now they usually release funds after the 30 day returns was up i was hoping that would still be the case with a suspended account

but it seems that isnt the case

was just hoping someone here had been in the same position and could let me know what had happened to them

You should write to eBay, and ask what happened to your account...
In these cases it should be released in 30 to 60 days... although if your buyer opens a case they will lose the money...
There are buyers who, upon seeing that the account was suspended, open a case

Ebay also sends a message to the buyer that the seller has been suspended,does it not?

I'm not sure if eBay informs the buyer.
But in the accounts that have been suspended from me, some dishonest buyers have opened a case and I lose the money...

I think Ebay does send an email to buyer at the same time when you are suspended,so they know.
I recall buying a MSFT key and the seller was immediately suspended,she told me she will still send me the key which I accept.
Some sellers will ask if the buyer still want the item,?

Sorry to hear that happened to you......ive had exactly the same happen to me in the past

In this case i did give the winner 14 days money back garuentee and that time has now long passed

its been 5 weeks and still no £££££

and we are talking a couple of grand here as well......not just a £1 item

i dont want to kick up too much of a stink with ebay as i have another 20 accounts that are all in my name and have had no problems with them

i dont want them to do a sweeping closure of all of my accounts

im guessing the 30/60 thing all depends on how long you gave your buyer to return the item..??

in my case it was a 14 day returns with postage paid by the buyer

but its been 5 weeks since the sale and no complaints from the buyer to me or ebay so he is way past his returns date

Some are high risk .

if the account is in your real details and it was suspended it is at least 3 months , some people say it is 6 months now

if it is not verified and can not be verified they will not pay out at all

thankfully it is in my correct details......

but it is an old account that didnt go through all of the micro deposit and ID checks that they make you do even when using an old account that has been used for selling before the new system came in

so maybe im in a bit of a grey area there

the account was verified before the new system......but hasnt been reverified since the new system came in.....hhhhmmm

i cant see how they can justify just keeping someones £££££

i think the ombudsman might have something to say about that......espesially it being for a couple of grand

i agree with that....there is no justification especially when the buyer hasnt complained about anything and the tracking is saying delivered

tbh im not even sure why i got blocked, thou i didnt message another bidder and offer him another item which we spoke about away from ebay

so maybe some sneaky f**ker read that message at ebay.....thou ive dont this a 100 times before withou getting suspended

anyway thanks for everyones input and ponce it gets resolved ill pop back and let anyone reading this what the outcome was

very difficult to discuss further scenarios without know what you sold that caused the issue - or at least category of sale

Call ebay, they should give you an answer on this.
Your case seems strange to me.

quite a few ppl have reported 45-60 days via MP system on other threads

The most likely thing to happen is that your money will be back in 60 to 180 days. There are also people who report that they have gone more than 120 days without receiving it.
