Reinstated!! But with a limit...

Hi guys. Well I am happy to report that I have my ebay accounts back! Ebay reinstated me after a simple and to the point apology email. It took less than 12 hours since I sent it for them to act on it. I was in TOTAL shock!! But now I have a new concern. When I log into my account I get this message immediately in bright red text:

"Attention!
We've noticed some activity on your account, and we need your help in verifying some information. We're sorry for this inconvenience, but while we're working things out with you, you'll have limited access to list new items on eBay.

Please proceed to you’re my eBay and follow the steps outlined in the email we sent you. Thanks for your attention to this matter! "


Does anyone have any clue how long this limitation or restriction will last? The steps outlined in the email they sent me were to just double check my contact info and make sure it was current. It was all current, but just in case they were looking for an update, I changed my email.

I will not dare list anything until this restriction is lifted, but just wondering how long it will take? I also don't wanna contact ebay myself because you never know how the ebay staffer will react, they could easily be annoyed and just suspend me for no real reason.

Any idea?

I had that kind of limitation and they didn't lift it at all. I suggest that you open an ne stealth account.

trying to appeal and to call them. but i do not sure it will work.

i would just make a new stealth account. Just let those 2 accounts cool down for awhile and get some attention off that account. Then call later and ask about it maybe a month from now. I'm sure you will eventually get it reinstated, but now is too soon.
