| vesania | 07-02-2024 06:41 PM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages Only thing I have noticed that changed significantly since last couple of weeks was the amount of user verification screens.
Before I would get hit with confirm your identity after trying to submit a listing. Now listings go through, but still getting hit with reactivates. |

If it is not the reactivate it's those stupid ID verification requests.
It's getting nuts at this point./ |

| brucey | 07-19-2024 08:41 AM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages still ongoing in the UK - cant create an account. I assume they are now checking the name, address and date of birth - if it doesn't match up then suspension?
that's a guess though, maybe linked to the forthcoming HMRC share of information |
| SaiJin | 07-19-2024 09:00 AM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages Hmmm... what kind of address are you using? Because if they are suspending people based on name on the address, what about businesses or rentals or temp offices? |

that's a guess though, maybe linked to the forthcoming HMRC share of information | it is suspension through bots , they do not check personal details , you can use your real details and you will have the same problems |
| vesania | 07-19-2024 02:42 PM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages Ok so I am getting hit I matter what. My old accounts which were sitting for 3 months are getting hit with reactivate. Some make it but next day they get hit.
I can recall on another thread where people are saying that it is the item you are listing that is causing it.
I can attest to it have nothing to do with it. In the USA, once you hit the onboarding page where you are on screen with the info you signed up with including the phone. You can copy that page and use that to bypass submitting a listing on accounts you plan to start selling with.
Every time on new accounts, my account would be get suspended after. That is with no listing submitted. On the older accounts, they are hit with reactivate almost immediately.
So that is a sign that the Ip, info you use on the account or phone or browser is the main culprit.
Tried every way imaginable to get pass these and it is becoming near impossible for me. Quote:

Don't know what it is or can pinpoint what is causing it.
Every time I create accounts on the desktop, I get hit with captcha and phone requests no matter what IP I use. I can tether via mobile on Desktop and still get hit with it.
Doesn't matter if it is a new windows profile account, a firefox sub account or a chrome user profile. Still gets hit and suspended almost instantly.
Now I use that same IP and create on the mobile device, I don't get hit with any captchas or phone verification.
I always get issues even when the account has history listing on desktop. Gets hit immediately.
I rarely get hit with mobile which is what works for me. |
Re: Ebay reactivate account messages maybe i missed your clarification but I cant recall what your IP source is |

| vesania | 07-28-2024 08:18 AM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages So can anyone provide some help here.
Literally doesn't make sense.
Why is it when I reuse browser, IP & phone number on 3 different accounts.
Maybe like 1 or 2 of them get the identity verification request and the others get up a listing with no issue. They get reactivated, but regardless, the listing still gets submitted.
The only variable in that equation is the information on the person. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 07-28-2024 02:56 PM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages it is mostly random , ebay reps told me once they also look at how many accounts were opened on a given day as they have an acceptable average , anything above average gets taken down regardless of anything else |

I used a trial mint mobile sim and created a new account with it. No reactivate using the number and IP.
So if that is the case with another trial sim card, then I will just decide to buy a bunch of them and go that route.
Right now I am testing out tons of trial sim cards and using the number and IP to see how it goes. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 07-28-2024 07:49 PM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages since they use bots it is very well possible they analyze averages , for example a certain number of accounts were opened the same way they just suspend any accounts above average opened the same way , same goes for sim card types , banks etc. |

| vesania | 07-29-2024 08:27 PM | Re: Ebay reactivate account messages Ya there is something going on here that eBay is suspending.
Like just now. I started the process of turning the account into a seller account by adding the address and phone. Created a draft of a listing. Left it for around 2 hours since I got sidetracked with some errands.
This has happened twice in which I forget to complete the full seller account process.
I come back to log into the account and it is suspended. It is a fresh number from a sim card and IP is from that exact sim. Browser is Chrome which I never had issues with.
I mean is eBay just banning people off their info now? This is the only explanation I can think of.
The info is that matching of my friends info who has never had an eBay account before.
There is no logical explanation for eBay to do that. They are just shooting themselves in the foot at that point. |

Reconsider your account creation methods, use different methods, reactivation messages come up at different points for many people like me on this forum, but I believe it can be overcome step by step with different combinations, |

Try again, this time using your own home internet if you have a DYNAMIC IP. OR with ipburger residential ip.
Use a mailbox from say UPS.
Any phone sim should work either from a major company or tracfone.
I steer away from tethering my account to my phone's internet.
Other than that I assume you're already following the basics in the stealth guide? |

If they can't match up a person to it or have a database where the person has had that address for awhile, they will ask for a selfie and ID verification which I gotten trying it.
I don't use residential IP's as mentioned previous times. Never worked for me.
I get captchas and a text to a phone number when first creating the account or entering them. Which tells me, the IP is already a flagged or suspicious one.
I never get them using a mobile IP which is why I stick with them.
What works for you isn't necessarily going to work for me. What works for me isn't necessarily going to work for you. |
