Ebay reactivate account messages
 

What's going on with ebay? From Sunday, every account I open immediately gets a please reactivate your account message. Nothing has changed in the account creation method. The product has not changed either. You could look for a problem if something had changed.

Maybe it could be AI which adopted to my behaviour ?

Don't know but I am facing same issue as you since I started creating Saturday.

THat previous week no issues. WOnder if the bozos are upping the security.

Yes I believe Ai is running everything now and screwing it up royally. Remember the ole days when I asked to speak with an agent, you got a human in a few minutes. Now you have to wait days for a real person - it's all an algorithm from AI.

remind us about your creation steps - just to see what may have become newly targeted

1. Fresh IP 4g
2. Fresh email
3. Browsing to collect cookies
4. Browsing ebay little bit and then create account
5. Do some bidding
6. Open seller account with 2-5$ listing

And after 1min reactivate your account.

Have tried to warm up for day/two and only then make seller but it doesnt matters.

Today also have created account and try to list crap for 2$

I have created only seller account without listing, even then i got reactivate

Accounts created before Friday are still going. Anything after that got hit with reactivate at least 30 of them.

Surprise you haven't gotten any of those identity verification requests.

Never bothered with creating history for the account since it never worked for me in the past nor has it worked for me now.

I have tried to make history, as other experienced members suggested that way. So i have tried many options. Non of these works so far.

This right here is a clue. I remember that back in 2022 when I would just create the seller with no listing, it would get reactivated.

Now we just got to mess with the variables.

IP
Name + Address
Phone
Device/Browser

I have a feeling device & Browser doesn't play a huge role unless it is a browser that blocks everything or similar to incognito.

Just leaves 3 to mess around now.

This maybe a very minimal thing, I never go with anything under $5.
This used to be a problem a long time ago when people were doing 99c auctions

I was try also auction with 0.99 starting and 9.99 as buy it now option.
Also doesn't work that way :)

Let's give it by tomorrow or by Sunday and hope this is only a week thing.

When was the last time you were able to create an account that didn't have issues?

What makes you think cos it is for week ?

My thoughts is they have changed AI bots for new sellers requirements.

I was able to crate accounts last week. Since sunday im getting reactivate messages instantly after creating seller account.

It's how it is. Goes up and goes down. Doesn't stay the same forever.

I know because there have been times where I couldn't create accounts for a week and up to 2 weeks. All of a sudden, those issues with reactivates, identity verification requests and suspensions died down.

Same goes for listing removals. A year ago, listing taken down every 30 minutes. Now, listing taken down every 2 hours up to 5 hours. Has died down significantly.

They are not going to continue this going forward, would be stupid of them to even think.

hmm could be worth trying a 9.99 listing to start - seems silly but worth a try to test if listing dollar amount is a new targeted aspect

Have tried 9.99 also 0.99 and also 500 :)

It can't be your item that is causing it. It's the info, IP or phone since you stated you get hit without even submitting a listing.

Try doing out of the ordinary creation.

Like using INcognito that blocks all fingerprints or a anti detect browser. Try an online SMS verification service instead of a sim. Try a proxy.

That is what I am testing right now.

No it blocks me when im try to list.

Obviously you can not open seller account for first time without listing. So i create listing and then press list it now, after that i got reactivate. Even email about listing doesnt comes, because first is reactivate. So it happens right after i press lost it now. Sometimes while i go to summary page listing is gone in that time.
