Can they track a phone?
 

having major delayed payout.
questioning if it is someone on our staff logging onto the eBay account just using cell service without a VPN not Wi-Fi. Can they track the location?

Everything else at this location always uses the VPN can they track just a cell phone from a cell phone tower?

why are you worried about tracking location...if account is in USA, for example, you dont need to be in the same state of the account registration - just wondering

You can use a VPN on your phone. but really it will always be more efficient to use it from a normal browser on your computer.
In general, if you make even the slightest mistake, you will be dead.

They can't track your phone, that'd be illegal.

Maybe he is referring to locating his IP, not the triangulation like the one the police use, I think maybe he is referring to that.

Sorry I was not more clear. My account was permanently suspended.
I am at the same warehouse in Atlanta with the same Wi-Fi router, same address same location same computer but using a VPN and that seems to be working over a year. just someone logged on with her phone not the Wi-Fi on their phone with eBay app just their phone using phone service data not Wi-Fi service.

VPN could be an issue if a cheap potentially overused one

You don't have to operate your accounts from the same location that it was created. People travel, ebay is aware of that.

if logging in with cell service, location can be tracked from cell phone tower for sure - if investigation is done
