Mc071 fpa notice

eBay Account Suspended - MC071 FPA NOTICE
Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out because I recently received an email from eBay with the subject line: MC071 FPA NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension. My account has been suspended, and I'm unsure what steps to take or if there's anything I can do to resolve this situation.

The notice mentioned something about failing to comply with their policies, but it wasn’t very specific. I’ve tried contacting eBay customer support, but little luck when asking if there is anything I can do.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is there any way to appeal or get my account reinstated? I’d appreciate any advice or tips on what steps I should take.

Thanks in advance for your help!

you need to reply to that email from your ebay account and ask what you need to do to appeal

Re: Mc071 fpa notice

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to concerns we have for the safety of the eBay community.

You may appeal the suspension by replying to this email.

Why have we suspended your account?

From experience we know that certain items and actions are more associated with fraudulent activity on eBay than others. As a precaution, we suspend an account if it gives us cause for concern. We then ask for more information from the member before we reinstate the account.

Please understand we're not accusing you of fraudulent behaviour. Our top priority is to ensure that eBay remains a safe and reputable place to buy and sell, so we'd just like to confirm some of the information you've given us.

An account suspension in these circumstances is covered under the eBay User Agreement, which you can read by copying this link into a new browser window:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policie...agreement.html

During your suspension you are prohibited from using eBay in any way, including registering new accounts. Doing so may result in your permanent suspension. We have ended your open listings.

Please be advised that this suspension does not relieve you of your obligation to pay any fees that you may owe to eBay.

We need you to take action. For more information about why your account may have been suspended and what steps to take now, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/account...-accounts.html

Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety

Seems like you can appeal the decision by replying to the e-mail - but for more forum advice/discussion, you will need to post what you are selling or at the least the category for guidance since appeals need to be specific...

the below text says it all , they do what they like. if account is in real details and sufficient balance is frozen you take them to court and the will pay out

I have no balance that they owe me, I have not used the account for a year, the account did go below standard for some reason, even though I had not sold for some time, that could be the reason. FYI I did try and appeal but they said i could not appeal this.

What was the outcome to this? I've received the same email today.
