Ebay UK instant suspension after first listing
 

Hello ebayers,

I am facing an issue with Ebay UK..

I create an account using 4G data hotspot from my phone (fresh IP) , create account using my friends real name, address and info on a fresh user account on desktop computer. (new email , number etc also )

I wait a day or two then list my first item, upon listing I am instantly MC999 suspended. The item is a used £10 branded Lacoste tshirt.

I also tried another account created with the same method except I registered via the Mobile app, the same issue occurred except I got restricted instead of being suspended with MC999.

They asked me questions about the items I am selling, how much I plan to sell etc. I sent the info and got suspended permanently..

MY QUESTION
I am wondering for new accounts, is it best to create the account, wait some time, buy a few 5-10£ items then after a few days / feedback received list a low risk item such as a book or low cost item that isn't branded, or will this also cause suspension? This way I seem like a regular user who just discovered selling on eBay? Then slowly scale my sales up into more risky categories once I have established some feedback / trust?

I am burning through my available friends information so I want to be extremely careful with the friends info I have remaining for creating accounts.

Or is new accounts being suspended / restricted somewhat normal nowadays?
I have my own personal account that I sold on a few years back with no issues, but the account had been aged with a lot of purchases over 2-3 years.

It’s the creation process that is triggering AI, buying feedbacks won’t help, been there done that, tried listing same day and tried listing 10days later even with acc that had 10 feedbacks - still restricted

It's better to call them when this happens..

But listing anything with a brand name in fashion has always been a questionable thing to do on a new account..

I called they reinstated but automatically ban the following morning , branded items old not expensive even a book got removed mc999 instantly is their someone who knows what the hell is going on it can't be that difficult eBay some used company with second hand sht man

What they expect you to list pencils and pens ? It shouldn't be a issue what you list if its used

I used to bid/buy stuff for 2-4 weeks before selling but I am not sure if this helps anymore...I haven't tested since early last year...anyone tried recently?

Of course it matters what you list, otherwise you could just buy a load of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Lacoste shirts and list them as used.

it has to do with the way you created your account,does not matter what you list.
whose desktop computer did you use?
Did you delete all traces on that PC?

That method I've tried before and it still got banned its the algorythm what keeps detecting
