Ebay uk restriction after creating a uk ltd as a non-resident
 

Hello everyone,

I recently created a UK LTD, and I am a resident of France. My goal was to sell on eBay UK via dropshipping. Here’s what I did:

1) I opened a business account directly on eBay.fr under the name of my UK LTD.
2) I made a few purchases on eBay UK and received 5 positive feedbacks.
3) I then listed my first product in dropshipping on eBay UK.
eBay then asked for personal information, including my residential address.
Problem: My French address was linked to a previously restricted account, so 4) I provided my UK LTD address instead. However, my IP was still French. As a result, my account was restricted.

I’m wondering if the restriction was due to:

My French IP while my account was supposed to be based in the UK?
The residential address not matching my actual country of residence?
The fact that I made purchases on eBay UK before selling?
Or was it because I directly listed a dropshipping product? However, the image was clean (white background) and the delivery time was reasonable (8 days).
Has anyone successfully sold on eBay UK with a UK LTD while being a non-resident? What is the solution?

Should I use a VPN or a proxy?
Or is it entirely possible to sell on eBay UK with a UK LTD while residing in another country?
Additionally, is it possible to sell on eBay FR while residing in France under the name of a UK LTD with its registered office in the UK?

the reason for the suspension could have been anything incl. random

but in any case you would be suspended in the future , non-resident accounts on ebay are strictly forbidden. non residents can only run ebay accounts if they manage to conceal that information from ebay by essentially opening and verifying a resident account. as soon as ebay see you are a non resident they will suspend immediately

amazon allow non residents so you can use it there

Plenty of UK sellers ,Canadian and Aussie sellers sell on Ebay (USA) with no problem,I dont understand whey she cant do that with Ebay UK while in France/

so far I have not heard of any sellers who would be registered on ebay using a foreign entity , probably because there are none left alive

I remember there was a chinese guy here trying to prove it was his right to use a UK limited company on ebay he had recently opened. he is not here anymore

question for clarification: what kind of item did you list first? Category-wise or item...was it high risk/trademarked?

The only such restriction I know of is selling Tiffany small trinklets,if you are a SE Asian seller,you cannot sell multiple quantity of new Tiffany items
