Restricted from Selling but can still Buy/Bid
 

I have an 18 year old account with perfect feedbacks got this message from eBay:

Your account is currently restricted from selling on eBay. You can still buy with your account, but we recommend that you learn more about buying basics.

Please remember that you can't sell using other accounts or register new accounts to sell on eBay. If you do, it could result in having your accounts further limited or suspended.

I think they linked my account to the other account I am using with the same issue. I am accessing the other account on a same user profile on my laptop using Firefox. While this 18yr old account I access using Avast Secure Browser. I always make sure I access both accounts with different IP thou.

Now I am stuck with 2 old accounts with same issue. I have seen a youtube video with this issue of being restricted to sell but was able to have it reinstated by calling them.

Of course try call them, but that’s why you should use different users on your pc or mac. AI is getting smarter and smarter these days..

I do. However I feel bad for the 18yr account with perfect 5 star feedbacks.

Also it seems new Payoneer accounts need visual identification which I and other members are having a hard time bypassing.

you did not say what they are asking you to do in order to be able to appeal?

They did not ask me anything. They just say from now on I can only use the account to buy only.

Yes, the one on the youtube video was able to have her account reinstated after being banned by calling them.

So why dont you call them?
It will give them more information about you.
I would not give too much weight on what is shown on Youtube .

She did not say that,but she watched Youtube and someone called and get reinstated?
You tube is not reliable,but if she wants to find out,she could call,she is in PH,I dont know which office she should be calling,the one in Singapore,Ireland,US?
Her account or accounts are 18 years old,so it sounds like Ebay has found new way to dig out old dirt!

youtube is full of scammers , if ebay requested ID and invoices there is no chance to get reinstated through a call without sending anything
