MC999 after 1 month of creation
 

Has anyone gotten mc999 today or these past weeks. My accounts that ive listed and made sales on have gotten mc999 exactly after 1 month. I am not sure what happened but ive been listing and making some sales.

Home ip new
new device new phone

One common thing I noticed is that the accounts that got mc999 all asked for Identity verification after first listing would like to know if anyone else has encountered this also

I always get reactivate after 1st listing, still wondering what triggers ebay due registration process
New pc/mac user
New gmail chrome acc + browsing history
New ip, tried ipburger and mobile ip
New phone number
New name and address

Tried listing first item after 10 days, the same day, tried liating auction used clothes or toys, tried new items, same thing.
Had few accounts where listing auction items were successful but trying listing a buy it now item hits with reactivate.
I have 5 accounts running and only 1 new acc that I’ve created in the last 4months didn’t get a reactivate message and is still working and selling. That is 1acc out of maybe 20-30tries

This is insane - the phone number being used is what? a sim card or online provider or...?

New physical sim for a phone number. Every. Single. Time.

Ive been trying to create seller accounts daily only gotten worst gonna take a couple of weeks off and try again

Your problems are:

New pc/mac user - instantly linked to any previous eBay accounts on that computer.
if your in the uk, use a mobile dongle/mifi.

No doubt everyone will be along shortly to tell you I'm talking ****.

If you're bashing something good that the forum owner came up with that has been working for most people then yea, I'll call you out on that.

Your UK user go with mobile IP part? That's a good advice. Doesn't mean IPburger isn't a good alternative....

for eBay though, I'm still running dedicated user accounts per ebay account with no problems.

I've always used different user accounts on one computer without issues - but I haven't created an account this year so that experience is lacking with different user account on one comp - for eb

Got MC999 on about 8 accounts
All those restrictions comes in two days

9. April and 17. April

This happened to me before in february. Then i lost about 15 new aged accounts.

Defeats the use of eb and handling own business to avoid potential competition...

this has been like this at least for 2 years

there are secondary suspension waves hitting many accounts at once within about 3-6 months of account opening

for eBay? No.

new windows user account is enough.

But if you want to be extra careful, you can reformat and reinstall your OS to make that computer fresh. Perhaps this would be a good middle ground for you

I would presume without full knowledge that is because you're being linked somehow to previous accounts. Dating back to 2014, whenever I had links from bad stealth practices, generally takes about 30 days for that to hit the account. Unless you reuse the same phone number, other obvious links don't happen immediately. In my case I typically got indefinte suspensions immediately.

The reactivation is pretty normal now a days. Just call, verify and be very nice.

I like bidding for 2-4 weeks before selling - worked for 2 accounts created in april - mind you, 1 was CA 1 was USA based - not UK this time...yet

When you register for a new acct choose "Business" instead of Personal.

Unless he's got houses in CA, the USA and the UK I doubt he's using his home IP

For Canada, home IP - for USA and for UK, I use old school initially ...unlimited international call monthly rate ... :FF:

wondering will I still get reactivate messages if I make business ebay sellers account and age them... any experiences ???

Remember that "ageing" them doesn't mean just letting them sit around - you have to bid/browse/be active on the account.

In the past, feels like I would get less reactivate messages by doing this way...

Both - though I have been focusing on personal accounts as of lately.
