My stealth account got blocked for security reason, they changed my password and said somebody accessed my account
But it never happened like that. but now when i try to call they ask to verify my identity with DATA BASE questions or ID CARD which I dont have, its a security block.
the phone number i have on that account was an outdated so I couldnt get the text. I used a new browser.

I called them and they were trying to start the database security option but I just hung up.
I went back to the ebay website and tried to select could not get text as i have new number but the next page was prompting for ID card with biometric face verification

How come you don't know the account info? Did you get it from someone else?

Hate to be the eternal pessimist but the account is probably toast. I'm facing something similar with my oldest account at the moment.

yes it was my Ex account which he gave me 3 years ago. The phone number was our common land line which was disconnected last year when we split..

is there any way I can get the 4 current listings ended so I dont have to worry about shipping as I cant access this account right now in this security locked state?

Highly unlikely without being able to login - sounds like it could be an attack by the ex...?

No it wasn't any hack, I just linked it to inkfrog and the next day it got locked.
Is there any way I can request ebay to end those 4 active listings?
if I leave the account inactive for a few months do you thin the lock will reset or go away?

if you have the original email and phone number information, you can call eBay and ask them to change the phone number and pass the security block

they juct technically lock the acc until the ownership is verified
and it looks kinda like password was changed

I don't think you wil be able to get the current listings ended right away without forcing a suspension on the account. Do the listings have a natural end date?

This is a question for Ebay,you may want to go to Ebay site and find out what happens to your listing if your account is locked?
How does Ebay expect you to fill your order if you cant get into the account to print a shipping label or mark it shipped?

Yes ebay changed the pw because this is what the email stated.

I tried to link it to inkfrog so I wont have to log in and worry about IP but this happened..
The current 4 listings that are active were good till cancelled and I dont want to ship anything for fear of not getting a payout.... already I did not get my november payout. I phoned ebay from another phone number and they were going to start KYC Questionnaire I hung up

You won't be able to ship anything anyway - you won't be able to see the address of the winning bidder, right?

you can see the address in the email but can not upload the tracking so if the buyer dispute it you lose your money and merchandise. same thing happened to me just consider the account toasted maybe after a couple months you can try log in again but most likely it would be the same thing.

lesson learned in a hard way, avoid linking or authorize any third party platform/tool or whatsoever it will likely trigger some security measure at some point, unless you always have access to the phone number on file.

I always just handle orders via logging in and not looking at e-mails so thanks for the clarification

If any tricks like this exist, I doubt it will be shared openly - I haven't tried without logging in though

Ive already got 2 new buyers :S
I dont want to ship it because I cant upload any tracking or log in.

If you don't, sooner or later buyers will claim INR, leave neg feedback (likely), get refunded and your account will be toast...just saying
