More power to him and I hope he's doing alright. He is/was an Amazon guy though and doing cross border FBA isn't really what I meant.

It takes $$ capital to buy all that merchandise for two warehouses.
I recall at one time when WMT,Sears are closing some stores in TX,they will mark down their merchandise by 35%,you know WMT prices are already low,and buying at such discount is cheaper than buying from wholesalers,and you save on freight.
One outfit which sells solely on AMZN will send 2 employees with Uhaul,one guy gets his brother in law and mother in law who has a station wagon,both outfits score 100% gross margin on AMZN.

It doesn't cost all that much to send merch to Amazon FBA. It just makes it really hard to turn a profit.

if your cost and markup are too high,you would have a hard time making a profit anywhere ,what I am referring to is that Sears and WMT closeout at 35-37% markdown make it possible for them to turn a profit.
They did not use AMZN FBA,they keep the goods at home and warehouse

It is not AI,but all these sellers who have no stock but sending your order to AMZN,WMT,TGT,CHINA,RWANDA.
I thought it was safe to order an appliance on Ebay ,now it has a tracking number starting FM,it looks like it is either coming from HK or China?
And no return policy.

Fortunately dropshippers are on the way out.


Complainers like to act like eBay isn't listening or paying attention to what happens on their marketplace.. truth is they're more knowledgeable than any of us here.

No,dropshipping/retail arbitrage is still alive,I have bought items on Ebay and they come from WMT.
But when I go to WMT to check the prices,it is higher than what he charges me on Ebay,assuming he has an account for free shipping,does he get discount on items as well?

Some sellers are all on platform so make use of the Walmart options themselves by placed order etc save on shipping

My question is how can they sell for less than what WMT is asking.
I know they have a WMT account for free shipping,or even if they do not,WMT offers free shipping for $35 and up.
But an item which sells for $40 on WMT.COM,the ebay seller is asking $38 ,after Ebay fees etc,he is not getting $38.
He goes to WMT and ask WMT to ship to me,he is losing money.
(the only reason I can come up with is that these sellers forget to update their prices)
anyone???
