MC011 What Counts as Valid Proof
 

Ebay hit me with MC011 asking for proof of documentation after selling apple product, I am scared that my real Amazon receipt will not be valid and still get me banned, what kind of receipt should one get "creative" with to pass MC011? Does anyone have history with Amazon, Best Buy receipt for proof of documentation and passing.

You're screwed. If it were me I would use Apple receipts without expecting success.

You always have a better chance with your real order receipts.
When I get an MC011, I always send them 2 months worth of order invoices downloaded directly from AliExpress. No "creative" work whatsoever.

Invoices,
ID document
Utility Bill - if they do not insist on a bank statement.
If they ask for business registration documents, I explain that I am not business registered yet, but soon will be :d.

A good polite explanation, and it's 50/50.
If a cool rep reviews you, you will get re-instated.
If a d*ck reviews you, you're screwed.

I did what you said, edited a apple.com receipt, I'm just hesitant to send as I don't think its perfect but I couldn't source a better template.

I mean, it's better than sending a copy of a PI from your supplier in Shenzhen.


A few years ago a former partner of mine used a receipt from Apple.com on Amazon. It worked.. somehow.

Under NO circumstance use Amazon as a proof of purchase, eBay hates Amazon & they will consider you drop shipping or potential F.

Best thing to do is buy cheap products directly from Apple, modify the invoice to match your goods & account details. No discrepancies.

Print it out and take a clear picture of the invoice, I prefer this than uploading the PDF directly.

I've never seen serial numbers printed on any receipt or invoice. Imagine an order of 500 USB-C Earpods with serial numbers for each pair listed. :lol:

Lotta retailers doing this nowadays. Apple headphones always have serials, Bose sometimes, Sony's nah, these hold true pretty much any store. MSFT prints serials for pretty much damn near everything. PSVR will print serial depending on store, I believe Best Buy doesnt while Target does. etc etc

This is for DTC obv wholesale would be diff

True the headphones have serial numbers...hardly sub $100 items I guess - I don't know if retailers print serials on their receipt but if bought from the apple store...quite likely.

Yeah right, the serials don't need to show on the invoice, only that you match all the items you sold on your eBay account (quantities/models) to the invoice, as well as your name, address, payment method showing etc., with no mistakes on the edits

That's why I asked if he was selling phones.
I've dabbled in Apple accessories forever but obviously the highest risk items like Airpods are off limits. The things I order come in shipments of a few hundred which is why listing individual serial's on an invoice seemed so ridiculous to me. :noidea:


@OP - If this limitation you've been hit with is due to selling high dollar Apple knockoffs, you aren't getting the account back. :clap:
