Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some guidance regarding an MC195 suspension.

My client recently created a new eBay business account. Before creating the business account, he already had two buyer accounts that were registered using the same phone number. The buyer accounts were used normally and had no major issues.

After successfully creating the business account using the same phone number, the account was suspended with an MC195 notice shortly afterward.

We are trying to understand whether the suspension was triggered because multiple accounts were linked to the same phone number or if there may be another reason behind the restriction.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation? If so:

* Was the account reinstated after an appeal?
* What documents or information did eBay request?
* Is it acceptable to have multiple buyer accounts and a business account associated with the same phone number?
* What would be the best approach when contacting eBay regarding an MC195 suspension?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

No, that's not acceptable. Common sense says to use different phone numbers on each account.

Use a different phone number on each account.
Don't re-use phone numbers. They cost pennies anyways... If you have hard access to them, you can always turn to App Store and find you some cheap monthly virtual numbers. They do the job just as good.

another reason , phone number is secondary. ebay suspend most new accounts but good news is that you can just try all over again , change phone number but you can use the same personal details

phone number plays a major role if it is virtual but if it is a usual physical sim it is not a problem even if used on multiple accounts

You said your client have 2 buyer accounts,have they been leaving too many negative feedbacks?
