Wasted PS/TRS Account?
 

I had no idea what I was doing and started selling items on eBay via PayPal...

eBay banned my account (PS) for VERO. So I started to use my wifes eBay and a few weeks later my PayPal was limited... Said screw it and kept using her eBay with her PayPal... Few weeks later her PayPal was also limited. I then had a friend sign up for PayPal and used that again with my wifes eBay... Few weeks later... Limited paypal.

Now I know all those PayPal's ended up linked to my orignal eBay/PayPal and where limited for that reason.

Now my wifes eBay... It's a PS/TRS in good standing with alittle over 300 FB.

Is that account trash now? Should I just leave it or at some point will the links fall off?

Hello, sounds like they are all permanently linked. It will only be be a matter of time before your wife's Ebay account is limited.

You need to start again with all new accounts and details.

Yes unfortunately so.... it is common for family members to be linked and banned anyways. But as you have used your PP account with your wife's Ebay account they will make the assumption you have been using ebay whilst banned and limit it aswell.

You should be able to withdraw your funds after 180 days.

guilt by association is what it boils down to. You could end up lucky but the track record you describe makes me doubt you'll stay lucky with her account :noidea:

Bit of a sad way for you to find out the ins/outs of paypal & ebay. Right now you are likely not too happy. That I understand. IF it does happen that your wife's paypal account gets limited, then there are things to do to make sure you do get any monies held.
