vpham022009 | 12-30-2009 03:22 PM | no they did not block my paypal account but just limit my eBay account |
OfficialGenius | 12-30-2009 06:05 PM | I'm suprised they didn't limit your paypal account. That is ALOT of money in a short period of time. Did you withdraw all or ANY of it yet?
Becareful... |
vpham022009 | 12-31-2009 08:23 PM | I still leave $2000 in my paypal is it ok or should I withdraw all these money out a.s.a.p
thank you for your help |
Jessime | 12-31-2009 09:17 PM | I could be wrong but from my understanding from reading the forums, they recommend that you olny leave 150$ in your paypal account chances are you will probably get paypal limited because thats a spike in sales. Actually thats a huge spike. I personally would withdraw everything 180 is a LONG time.
Honestly, when they asked for my ID I passed. Unless your 100% positive feedback and have fully authentic product odds are, you are going to get shut down. |
vpham022009 | 01-01-2010 12:34 AM | I already withdraw all my money and leave only $150 in my paypal ^^ I got 99.2% of feedback and only get one negative out of 362 transaction! my feedback score is only 120
is it safe, I got 2 paypal claim... |
GreenBean | 01-01-2010 12:57 AM | Not likely. Expect to meet paypal soon. There may well be reversals of the withdrawals and other nasties :peace: |
OfficialGenius | 01-01-2010 01:34 AM | Not sure what you meant by "I got 2 paypal claim" but let us know if everything went through safe and sound! You never know, you could be one of the lucky chosen few to slip without getting hit with the limitations. :) |

successsor | 01-10-2010 10:27 PM | what vero item u sell? curious here. :D |
vigilantex69 | 01-10-2010 11:40 PM | Yea dude how in god did you make $6000 in one week selling VERO? what the hell are you selling? |
ovidiu | 01-12-2010 12:51 AM | Office 2007 for $40 is below wholesaler's costs. You must be buying pirated Chinese garbage. And Microsoft basically no longer goes after anyone on eBay. |
tenggo | 01-19-2010 03:17 AM | limited paypal good way i have found ,my real paypal gets limited every 2 weeks, as i travel a lot and always using different ips. anyway every time it gets limited, they only reverse the last bank withdrawal , ie if there is 1000 in the account withdraw 800 first and then 200 in another transaction. if it gets limited they only reverse the 200 but the 800 goes through.
dont know if this works for everyone but it works for me... |
captainjack1980 | 01-19-2010 03:35 AM | My experience with limitations is that all pending withdrawals get reversed :(

I would use the methods in ebay stealth to set up another few ebay and paypal accounts so you are prepared to just "up sticks" and abandon problem accounts.
Ebay and paypal are now a lot better at communication so a problem in one is reflected in the other.
If you have standby accounts you can sell smaller lower value items to get your feedback up before selling the bigger stuff.
You can still keep an eye on your current ebay account to see if the limits are lifted and you can use that account again if so. (but make sure not to log into multiple accounts from a machine where cookies are not deleted or ip is unchanged)
Its always best to always have a plan b and even a plan c where ebay and paypal are concerned. |
Yes, they stop pending withdrawals for any reason that they deem "suspicious" and usually if a limitation is not the case yet, it usually follows.
If funds are locked then you WILL be able to withdraw them in 180 days following a limitation. Its a pain but the best you can hope for. |
GreenBean | 01-19-2010 06:10 AM | ^^^No. The funds will only be available for release after 180 days if paypal agrees to do that. It is no longer a given :peace: |
Green, can you tell me under what circumstances they would keep funds after 180 days? Is this related to vero related offences.
I have never had this but would like to know more.
I suppose if they do decide to appropriate funds (ie steal them) there is not a whole lot anyone can do to get them to change their mind. |
jesseinkaron | 01-19-2010 12:53 PM | Is there any indication from paypal prior to the end of the 180 days if they plan to release the funds or not ? Is there any difference in the limitation?
I have 3 accounts with quite a lot of money in them and I was counting on getting that in a few months. |
My Guess is that its a "wait and see" game, when it gets to the end of the 180 days you usually get an email saying "Paypal funds ready for withdrawal"
The thing is there is nothing you can do up to this point anyway so I would put the date in your diary and then wait for the email. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:33 AM. | |
