Been on ebay since 2002. Have been gold powerseller in the past.
Now on an account made back in 2004 but only just started to use, they are requesting phone # verification. never had this happen before. Tell them they can call now and get the message temporary unavailable. So didnt think anything of it. Now all my auction on gone and I cant relist any items. I get a pop-up asking to confirm again. Get the same message that its not available. Still cant list. Now it says I have used up all my chances to get my pin # from the phone confirmation.
Anyone else experience this? how do I get around it so I can list stuff. I am losing lots of money here.
It seems I have limited access to listing til I get this done. What a scam. I need to make the money to cover my fees coming up and cant list a single thing. Any help is appreciated.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I haven't experienced this before, most people verify by using a credit card. I use simon.com virtual giftcards, they work well. But if you need a number, you can try voice.yahoo.com, they're temporary phone numbers.

See thats why I hate Ebay.
They should let give you a good amount of time to verify your self before they talk down your auctions and limit accounts! Thats why i do think it is something more behind all of this nonsense.
I hate ebay with a passion...one thing ebay has taught me in the last 2 years of dealing with them, "Never give up" its always a way..so this number verification thing is just another hurdel we will hop over and then it will be somethen else.
