I am such a freakin' idiot!
I read all the postings in this forum and planed everything step by step.
Got a new card, address, dynamic IP , email, etc..and ready to go.
Went to Ebay, created a new seller account and posted a sample item for sale - no problems
Everything was all right and my all new credentials were accepted right away.
Just right after I hit the submit button for my first sale I realized that I forgot to delete the cookies :eek:
We'll see what happens but I am expecting to get caught pretty fast and linked with my suspended account.
I will try to bring my contribution to this site and keep you posted.

Ouch, I hate when that happens belerim. Cookies are just as effective as an IP address of finding out who you are. Good Luck? Let us know what happens...

Passed more then 24h and so far so good.
I'm wondering how long will take until they'll get me...or maybe not :confused:

It's iffy with eBay. Sometimes it takes an hour, 24 hours, days or more.

How many days do you think it's the maximum that watch out?

I don't know when you are in the clear. Last account I had took them 7 months to catch me on an accidental common URL domain from my old account in gallery. I have been EXTREMELY careful this time. Delete cookies at regular periods, hard reset my IP (disconnected network to make this work), never log-in to old accounts, etc etc. They are even going and suspending my families accounts with NO affiliation. Don't even know how they are associated. Maybe by last name? Strange since I live over 300miles away. I figured it was because I logged on my account on their computer once in the past so DELETE DELETE DELETE those cookies! My current account has been OK for over 2 weeks now.

One thing I'm curious about is HOW can eBay miss the fact that payments are going to the same paypal accounts w/ just different email addresses. They go to all the trouble of logging cookies and IP's, but cant catch ppl on simple account associations? I'm not complaining...just seems strange that they allow it.
