hmmm

yes i have, i was also wondering can they track you down by your "mac address" such as the mac address assigned to the router?

aspkin 11-09-2007 06:38 PM

No, not by your mac address, only your IP address.

i go to the start menu, run and then cmd and ipconfig and that is the ip address that you are referring to correct??? because i notice when i change network card that ip adress is changed, also i was wondering since i connect through the router can they track me down through that as well?

lastly i was wondering if you have the same item description and pictures as your previously suspended account would that lead to suspension as well?

aspkin 11-09-2007 09:03 PM

you can check your IP address at:

IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address!

or

IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup

It has nothing to do with your router IP.. just your internet IP.

lastly i was wondering if you have the same item description and pictures as your previously suspended account would that lead to suspension as well?

Sometimes, yes

so router ip has nothing to do with it? because everytime i check my ip address using the cmd its always 192.168.1.102

polandfreshness 11-09-2007 09:16 PM

Also I read that changing your internet card changes your ip address and i tried that but its still the same ip address if i check on the ip burger link you gave me, if i change my router will that help?

I have optimum online and they can't change it for you. I bought a program that hides your ip with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one it works great check it out

Hide-My-IP.Com - Hide Your IP Address, Surf Anonymously, Protect Your Identify, Guard Against Hackers

Polandfreshness,

That is not your real IP address, that is you internal IP. Sounds like you are using a router on your network. I have posted instructed somewhere on this forum for grabbing a new external IP address. If you cannot locate thread, do a Google search about how to change your external IP address.
