http://www.allaccessgift.com not so good

While http://www.allaccessgift.com works on ebay, I found out today that their company classifies my merchant account as a "novelty shop" and so it pre-authorizes $50 on all my purchases to the card despite that my merchant account is not doing pre-authorizing, but "all access" visa is doing it.

So if these ever stop working on ebay (which like giftcards.com they blocked it themselves and not ebay), then draining through your merchant account will be trouble.

Say What???

aspkin 11-11-2007 06:12 PM

Simion.com work, vanillavisa.com works, Greendot works for eBay not Paypal, Netspend works, 3vcash.com works, entropay works..

there are a lot of options out there

Jonas 11-12-2007 03:39 AM

vanillavisa.com doesn't let you personalize their card so they don't work online

ebaykilla 11-12-2007 03:55 PM

vanilla works online

Jenilyn1980 11-12-2007 11:28 PM

Vanilla visa doesn't let you personalize but it still works for authorizations..they must just accept any address ebay sends them? I opened an account yesterday with it?

arysmith 11-20-2007 11:13 PM

Bought a Vanilla Mastercard and it just doesn't work with EBay

ebayhateluv 11-20-2007 11:16 PM

HI- Just got 2 Vanilla Visas from Staples, $25 each, opened up 2 seller accts last night, listed with them both.
Best to all!

Jonas 11-20-2007 11:59 PM

ebayhateluv are you outside of the USA? Vanilla Visa can't be personalized so AVS won't work and eBay requires an AVS match in the USA.

I personally think the claims vanilla visa work here are some sort of joke or trolling. But they may work outside the USA. I don't know what eBay uses to verify there.

Chris Hanson 11-21-2007 12:05 PM

nope they do work in US. And there is a avs tied to them. Its the zipcode of where you bought it from..Because my transactions wont go through unless I enter correct zipcode of where I bought the card from

arysmith 11-21-2007 01:42 PM

Interesting, I'll try using it from the zip code where I bought the Vanilla Mastercard since I used another zip.

HI- I just set up an acct with vanilla visa, JOnas---PM me i will give you the acct to look at...
NONE of us are giving BOGUS info- just sharing our experiences---Vanilla Visa Does work period. I CAN proove it to you...
you MUST go in and register it---did you do that--the screen has alittle button bottom right-can be missed- but you think its ok, you must hit submit first---

I beg to differ.

koalawash 12-20-2007 03:07 PM

Okay, who was the DOUCHE that gave me bad rep for posting that just now??

Besides, I'm totally correct. "Lots of wrong information", my arse.

Dutch 12-20-2007 05:21 PM

Do I put in the alias name for recipient when applying for the allaccessvisa, and pay with my real name debit card?

AVS requires a street address, too.

thelizardking 01-06-2008 12:54 PM

AVS requires the zip and number from your address, not the whole address. So if your address is 123 East St it just verifies the 123 and the zip. The rest can be whatever.

A lot of times when a buyer has a post office, their AVS has trouble matching. Sometimes putting the PO Box number before the "PO Box" works and other times it doesn't. Right now I have one customer from Europe who's not in UK who has AVS on the card. Zip code matches but customer can't get the rest to match or get AVS turned off. I can't turn off AVS requirements for one person without turning them off for everyone.

ebay100 01-06-2008 11:50 PM

It works..

But I use only the 25.00 one and use one time pay to pay fees..through paypal. Basically the allaccess visa is used to set up and not rechargable.

Works for me.
