Limit on listing items on Ebay
 

I sell diamond jewelry on Ebay. Ebay has put a limit on number of items that I can sell for my account since the beginning. I am allowed to list only limited number of items before the limit is in effect.

The limit was removed (or atleast it seemed like) in August'07 but in Nov'07 they have put it again.

They do not tell me what the limit is and why the limit is. All I get is the message below when I try to list.

Any ideas on how to list more item?

EBay sometimes places limits on your account based on your feedback. If you recently received a negative feedback or if your feedback score is too low, they'll limit the amount you can sale. You just need to work to increase your positive feedback.

Thanks for the quick response. I have over 600 positive and one negative.
I get 50 positive feedbacks per month. How may feedback ratings do you think they need?

I just tried to sell using my wife's account and they said that I should limit my selling activity to one account only.

Holiday season is big selling time for us and I want to sell more.

Any suggestions?

In the past, I ran an account with a 200 rating (Powerseller) with 0 feedback and I use to also get limited with the amount of stuff I could list in a giving week. It is just the way it is with ebay.
