creating paypal account BEFORE ebay account
 

So i created a new ebay account with a family members name to let it age.Then i read the stealth book for the second time and realized i was supposed to create my paypal account first.so paypal would accept my prepaid card and ebay would not ask for one. I do not want to burn this name i used.

would it be safe to create a paypal account in the same name, and address then reopen a new ebay account in the same name after? I have not used this ebay account at all nor should it be linked to any suspended accounts.

When you set up the Ebay account did you set up as a seller's account? If not then just create the Paypal account and then go to Ebay and turn the account into a seller's account. And if you are using a family members name with their permission and following everything in the Stealth guide then you shouldn't have any problems

I set it up as a standard ebay account i believe. I was never asked for my credit card info.So if i created a paypal account with my new bank account and a simon giftcard. I would then be able to change my ebay account to a sellers account without being asked for my creditcard info by ebay?

Yes that is correct. When you set up a Ebay account you can not sell with it right away you can only purchase. In order to sell you have to create a sellers account where they will ask you how you want to pay for your fees. So go and set up your Paypal account and then when you set up your Ebay account as a seller account choose Paypal as the method to pay your fees
