I don't think just voicemail is going to cut it anymore. You have to actually pick up the phone when fleabay gives you a call, because you have to press the '#' key during the actual call in order for them to say the PIN number.

Oh and about the area code thing.. I've done this before using a different area code (albeit a fairly close one) than where I'm actually located. With the high frequency of cell phone use, this has become pretty common practice anyway. The most they can do is to give you a call to check and see that you can answer calls on that number. So no it really shouldn't matter.

Not in my experience. If you can't pick up when they call, you have to tell them to call you again.
