eBay is being evil. Fax a copy of your most recent merchant processing statement

merchant processing statement will be needed for your next account.
Fax it and tell us what happens next.
Starting 2 days ago eBay will receive millions of faxes with statements form all over the world to wipe their asses with it. They are pushing hard to the beautiful paypal so they can make more $ and making it hard for people who don't want paypal because paypal gives money back to the buyer and buyer keeps the sellers product for free (it happened to me many times);-)

aspkin 11-21-2007 07:30 AM

I'm not sure about millions, most people will use Paypal.

So it happened to me too.....I had 3 other accounts from while back that I opened but haven't sold anything...I tried to sell an item and it let me accept merchant account without paypal....

I opened 2 of them today and its comes out I need to fax my merchant account info....So I guess its true now..

Chris Hanson 11-21-2007 11:27 AM

How can they do that. Some people accept the other payment methods Ebay allows

imjustme 11-21-2007 12:21 PM

I wonder what's next. Having to fax your first born's birth certificate? If you don't have kids, you can't sell on eBay!

leonid5000 11-21-2007 04:17 PM

people if you got samples of merchant processing statements please post them on forum. good quality photo if you can. of course no privet info.

Chris Hanson 11-21-2007 04:18 PM

doesnt matter. Ebay will verify it, you cant ⊗⊗⊗⊗ a merchant account

ivegotinfo 11-21-2007 04:28 PM

u sure?
what if its in a different country?

leonid5000 11-21-2007 04:28 PM

the cant verify merchant account don't listen to Chris. im not iven talking about different country merchand accounts. ebay is a rich loser. It is like ebay ask you to send utility bill or driver licence... all they do is put it on file and unblock your account.. I dont think they will call on phone but if they do is ok too.

Chris Hanson 11-21-2007 04:56 PM

Yeah we will see

Jonas 11-21-2007 07:35 PM

Are you two getting this when listing high priced items or low priced items?

And yet no one will simply provide screenshots.

yesterdaywas 11-21-2007 08:34 PM

It's the same screen shot leonid5000 posted....

I tried opening several ebay accounts without accepting paypal account only merchant account and wont let you until you fax the merchant account statement...

I tried it with real information and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and its all the same....It says you can provide paypal until you fax the information you require...I tried all this account in different computers one at home and one at the office which is opposite side of town where I live...

You all can get a ccnow acct for $9.95- they are a Legit merchant acct- you can print statements, etc. Ebay will accept this. Just dont run alot of funds through them, as they hold the first 45 days funds. They DO NOT integrate shopping cart etc- you must send invoice manually. BUT_ to save all the PANIC- open one up for the 9.95- run 1 sale through it small, let the 45 days pass, then all you have is a 14 day wait from then on. I got mine 3 months ago, already used it as a reference for a real bank- it passed.I ran over $8,000 through it last month- no holds. Also- had 1 smart alex- tried to get a refund- they send you a email- YOU ,YOURSELF choose close this INquiry, and its dead. NOt like paypal... BUT, you do have the wait. It's Merchant account alternative: CCNow.

News to me, they are owned by Digital River Corp, thought they were pretty big. I figured about 200 transactions in 30 days, at least 180 of them were all Paypal- I was wondering how they withstand Paypals' Limitations, processing probably 1-2,000 transactions daily? I have my direct bank wire deposit into my bank acct as promised, the 2nd and the 16th each month. I even had accts Canned at Ebay, but had a transaction pending- so i went over to Overstock.com, created a dummy item, with that price point, then ccnow processed it, that particular sale was $995, that was my highest dollar amount though, all others are norm $40-$80

Chris Hanson 11-21-2007 09:03 PM

This is some BS. I wonder how long will it take for them to let you sell after you fax paperwork? I just cant see Ebay handling millions of paperwork. that will take alot of manpower

loveandhate 12-27-2007 07:09 PM

Well as long as the paperwork is in, and your account is unblocked, thats all that really matters.

Dutch 12-27-2007 08:45 PM

Has anyone used the merchant account list that is promoted at paypalwarning.com and paypalsucks.com?

Accept Credit Cards, Merchant Account, Credit Card Processing - Home

It's endorsed by them, so it must be good? Any thoughts? Insights?

ivegotinfo 12-27-2007 09:40 PM

its endorsed by them because they get commissions from them when people sign up, thats it.
just find one that has low fees, then google its name and "scam" like
"merchant company name scam" and see what others say of it, thats how you can find a good one. Also ask people on this forum that use them like Chris.
