eBay account negged early. Should I abandon without paying?
 

I had an ebay account and about hardly any feedback someone bid just to leave negative feedback. I talked with the person and they're a complete psychopath so they won't withdraw. They're also from a foreign country known for fraudsters, too.

Well eBay won't remove the neg so I have options. Should I abandon it?

i would keep selling. the neg will barely hurt your sales.

you can take off negatives with squaretrade. its like 25$ and nearly every time they are successful.

I did not you can do that with square trade ill look into that

1 Bad feedback will not hurt you with a rating of 25. Its bound to happen anyways...

Squaretrade is $30 and if the person answers it and says no, then you're screwed.

i just had a GUY LEAVE ME A NEG- HIS PHONE NUMBER WAS mOTEL 6-- he had -0- fb, never even paid, then left a neg about the quality of the product..

That's either competitor, ex-buyer, or plain psycho.

Squaretrade can be used in any case, if they don't respond it will be removed, if they agree during the Squaretrade process it will be removed. If they refuse mediation, you will not get it removed and the $29.99 will be gone down the toilet.

1 neg out of 25 is okay, EXCEPT if you get 1 more neg, you will be over 5% and you can expect a Seller Non Performance Restriction on your account for a minimum of 14 days.
