Not linked to old account yet - perhaps never will?
 

Hey all,

My original account that had my real name, address, phone, was suspended back in July of 2009. It was originally made under my father's name about 8 years ago, with my parent's address and old cellular number. After it was limited, I reversed the info back to my old cell, my old address, and I don't believe i ever gave them my social (can't recall). I created a new non-stealth account in December with my current school address (have a new box number, so a new address that ebay has never seen), a new bank account, and a new cellular. I've used the account for personal purchases, but thought I'd give it a shot and sold a $60 item - it went through. Could it be that since the old account had a old address, old phone, my father's name (originally), old phone (originally), that it won't get linked to my new account? The only thing that would be the same is the IP, but I'm at a university where thousands of people visit ebay/paypal from the same IP. Of course, i've cleared flash cookies, regular cookies, etc. I'm not putting much weight on this account, just thinking aloud as to whether they'll get linked..if ever..

You could be one of the lucky ones. My only current account is running under similar circumstances for over a year now.

Well being link does take some time and doesn't happen right away. They usually wait until you have some funds you want to withdrawl or alot of transactions.
