MC169 user agreement suspension

OK!! So I check my email this morning and there it was .BAM Ebay suspension MC169 eBay Registration Suspension - User Agreement

after giving it some thought.. I figured I made The following rookie mistakes:

1.I took some picture from Ebay uk and pasted them in my listing in the US.

2.I was asking sellers to send items that i bought under stealth account to my real address which was suspended by ebay last summer.

3. I revised my listing about 4 times from BIN to auction ..also started and ended a couple of auctions as well.

do you think these factors played a part in my getting hit with a suspension

trying to get and idea of what got me knocked off ebay.

Totally dependent on what u actually uploaded...

@coolcat, a few of what you listed might be the cause.

as Rimmington said, the uploaded photo might have marked you. (Its owner might have reported you, though I'd expect a different suspension)

'discussing/requesting' the use of a suspended address could be trouble.
For every nice seller, there's one that makes trouble (bad person bad). The golden rule of stealth is to NOT associate with an old address(subject to certain conditions)

As for alerting, amending listings & stopping auctions early, that does raise flags.
Now what happens is that the old ebay bot does the first flag on the account and an underpaid human looks at it....troubles.
Just my .o2c.. Sorry to hear this. Think about it and try again:peace:

The thing they most track besides IP is the text in the ad. They have killbots that look for keywords and phrases of previously banned sales. Though probably unlikely they also could be tracking the EXIF data in your picture. There are easy ways to strip the info. Most of the time though you can just change the name of the jpg and its size.
