New account limited & ID requested
 

Ok help!

All was seemingly going well with my stealth account which is just my first name and real adress and fictional last name. But anyway my account just hit the 2 month old mark .. I had 4 feedbacks from selling some dresses from my closet but today I listed a blackberry and ebay sent me a notice that they need me to verify my identity by calling them and then a second later I got an email from "ended@ebay.com" saying my auctions had been taken down due to suspicious activity!

What do I do?
What will they ask me to verify when I call?
Is there any hope of getting this account back?

Going from selling dresses to a blackberry might have tossed up a red flag.

I am sure the experts will come on and help with your questions but blackberrys are a highly watched item.

Yes thats a big jump from dresses to Blackberry.

The flags are on a "hair trigger" for things like this.

Even though you are genuine and honest its the scammers that spoil it for the rest and hence why ebay have to take such strong action.

as Neo and Sandy said, the blackberry raised the flags. Why? it's a new account.The item is high risk (It is only a coincidence that it is stealth). ebay are questioning 99% of new selling accounts. It's just very scary to have it happen to your own account.
Your next step would be to resolve the problem. WHat have they asked for?:peace:
