There is no way for eBay to see your MAC address. It would require access to your computer through an ActiveX control or being on the same network (which they're not).

I often wish I could be more help to the forum but I haven't had any problems with the first account I made almost 2 years ago. All ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info. I wiped my putter and don't use anything having to do with my old ebay and Papal. I send the money to my bank account or transfer to my old paypal which I never access unless I go to the public library to do so. Most times I just draw the money out via an ATM. I have 4 accounts created using the same info, 2 of them are powerseller accounts and one is a top seller account. I follow no special rules these days and do all the things I used to do prior to the suspension.

I think it's much easier to use seperate user accounts since you can keep your passwords saved in firefox for email, ebay and paypal . I make accounts from 1 user , deleting history, logging off and back on, it seems to be alot more of a hassle accessing my accounts that aren't on a seperate user.

I have to agree user accounts makes way more sense. I know alot of people who know nothing about cookies so they don't erase them and I think ebay loves those people. But when you start erasing everything then that when you start having problems.

Supposedly they do not track MAC address, but it easy enough to spoof so why not do it.

Thanks to Oge I have a easy to use spoofing program but it is time consuming so I hope I don't have to use this ever.

my 5 account was taken down by ebay, in 2 weeks
the reason : suspicious account....:noidea:
before that, my sales drop off

some was 5 years old account

recently i open my new account, 1 month old, but get limited as soon as i make my first listing
ebay asking for ID and bank account...

i'm already using stealth way, using inkfrog, use third party picture uploader(never use inkfrog uploader) and get very minimum login to ebay

very frustated.....
do i have to format all my pc?

somebody help me pleasee...
