I didnt really get Suspended, I think they call it a 'Review", where when you are a new seller, when a Certain dollar volume hits, they do this--kinda like the pp Limitation..
But it all worked out.. I do have a very hard time in convincing buyers to lv fb in amazon... |

Well djmuggs before you go off assuming things...
I didn't expect to sell like that at all, I listed 12 items and had the lowest price by 1 cent in each listing, didn't expect to sell them so quick...I figured it would take 1-2 months, but when I woke up the next morning I sold 8 items, went to work came home had sold 3 more so actually sold 11 items in about 15hours...sold the last item the next day...I never expected them to leave it active I was just wondering if people have gotten reinstated...I ended up refunding about 1/2 of it and had them use a merchant account.. | his a high school kid, what do you expect :P |
| thelizardking | 06-04-2008 10:56 PM | So ive been told |
| Ballsack | 06-05-2008 03:07 PM | Does amazon force you to use their payment system when you sell on their site? |
| thelizardking | 06-05-2008 04:08 PM | Yeah but you can refund and have them use something else |
| djmuggs | 06-06-2008 11:25 AM | okay well, you didnt really explain it at all. you just said, " i made a new account, sold $1000 in a day.. and i got suspended.. WHAT DID I DO??"
lol |

| thelizardking | 06-09-2008 01:35 AM | They told me suspension is permanent.
Ballsack-I couldn't find email addressess but you can message them thru Amazon (like ebay), what I did was refund them send them a very short message like "I refunded your purchase please send a direct email to blahblah@gmail.com if you have any questions" then they email you directly and you can communicate that way. And yes you have to have a bank account but your first payout doesn't happen till 14 days after you get your first sale then after that you can withdrawal once a day..
Also..I tried setting up a new Amazon account like I would a new ebay and they linked me somehow...im gonna try again though on my work computer and see if it works.. |
| Ballsack | 06-09-2008 11:24 AM | Oh I thought you only get paid every two weeks thru Amazon. The only issue I have a problem with is the 5 percent fee.
Not sure how you're getting linked though. If you delete your cookies and change your ip you should be safe. I would get so pissed off if I had to obtain another bank account to sell on there. Not so bad for ppl who have local accounts but I tend to use the ones online. |
| Ballsack | 06-10-2008 12:02 AM | Holy ****. I just listed something on Amazon and they want a whopping 16 percent give or take on FVFs. What kind of insanity is this? I'm shocked they cancelled your account. They could have made a small mint off of you. |
| thelizardking | 06-10-2008 12:58 AM | Yeah I made a little over $1,300 all together and they made like $210 in fees (16%), they still get that money tho...but I don't get mine till late August...*******s |
| Ballsack | 06-10-2008 01:21 AM | But if you refund the buyer and tell them to use google then there's no commission right? The only problem I could see with that is the buyer will simply refuse to pay that way. You'll lose alot of buyers. It happens on ebay all the time. |
| thelizardking | 06-10-2008 04:28 PM | Yeah they lose the commission...ive had people say no to Google, but ive never had someone say no to Ccnow/Paypal... |
| djmuggs | 06-10-2008 09:31 PM | yeah ive sold some dvds and the bose earphones on amazon.. but the 16% fees are ridiculous. but the way you get paid through amazon is also pretty stupid. you have to either dump the entire amount of money in your amazon account into your verified bank account, or not take any out at all. and its a max of once in every 24 hours. their feedback system is very vague as well.. not a fan of amazon, but good to get rid of inventory |

Maybe ppl who use amazon have a different attitude towards purchases on there. I'm used to getting ignored at least half the time by ebay bidders. Quote:
