Back in February 2009 I committed to purchasing a pair of jeans and another pair of sneakers on Ebay, as I was a bit short on cash at that time but really liked those jeans, asked the sellers to allow me a 2 week leeway until I was ready to send the payment. However, just one day prior to sending this guy his payment he fixed me up with an unpaid item strike which resulted in a suspended account, I tried contacting the guy but surprise, he wouldn't answer, despite me practically sending him tons of email. Anyway, while with my hands tied to my back as my account was already suspended and I couldn't send any payment the other seller whom I've purchased the sneakers from gave me an unpaid item strike as well. So I decide to ocntact this guy as well ,maybe we could arrange a private PayPal transaction, unfortunately he was Italian and didn't understand a word, all he kept replying was "finished finished". So I decide to contact ebay's customer, they're a huge company their professional customer support will handle it, that's what I thought at least; I go on contacting their live chat support, miserable english, automated replies, they keep telling me my only choice would be to contact the sellers, I tell them I already made that and trying to contact the sellers again would just be waisting time. Finally they direct me to their "Trust & Safety" department. I get busy right away telling them my story, all I get are the same automated replies. Afterwards, I go on appealing my strikes by providing proof that I've been contacting the sellers, ebay's reply is; those email were sent after you've received the strikes therefore they don't count. I go back to ebays live chat support, guess what, they tell me once again my only hope is to contact the sellers, which takes me right back to where I've started. Anyway, ever since, I've been using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay address and as soon as I pay for something I instruct the sellers, hey don't send to that address, send to this one...which is quite inconvenient, but hey, what can you do? Anyway, was thinking you guys might have some good suggestions. Thanks! |
