Selling limit placed on my account.

Hey guys I started about 1 week ago to sell virtual product on ebay, I sold about 10 items over night, ebay removed some of my listing but I didn't pay attention to that and so today ebay placed selling limit on my account. here is message what ebay send to me:

We would like to inform you that selling limits have been placed on your
account. We’re committed to reducing both fraud and negative buying
experiences. To maintain a safe marketplace, we sometimes request
additional identification, or restrict a seller’s activity, remove
listings, or suspend the seller’s account. These limits are not
necessarily meant to be a reflection of your account’s activity, but
rather a preventative measure.

We’d be happy to review your account and, if possible, adjust your
selling limits to allow additional activity to take place. In order for
us to review your account, I need to ask you to submit all of the
following information by fax (fax number below):

-A readable copy of the driver’s license, front *and* back, or other
government-issued ID.
-A copy of a recent credit card statement. Your billing address should
be visible, along with the first and last four digits of your credit
card number.
-Documentation that shows that you purchased or are in possession of the
item(s) currently listed for sale on eBay. If you have many items for
sale, we just ask that you send two or three invoices.
-If your ID and credit card statement do not show the address registered
to your eBay account you will need to provide specific documentation,
such as a utility bill or receipt (if address is for a mail forwarding
service) that does.

Important –
-Make sure that your name and User ID appears on each document that you
submit.
-After you send this information to us, please reply to this message
with a brief note letting us know that the information has been sent.

I have question for you guys what will happen next if I will not send any confirmation to ebay ?

same situation

Hi there!

I understand your situation. In my case it is even worse. I sold only 2 items on ebay and around 6 items on Half. Because some of my books on Half are international edition, they got removed and after that, ebay sent me an email that they noticed some activities on my account that need to be verified. I also have to submit all kinds of documents that you listed above. If you do not submit, they will never lift limitation from your account and no matter how many other accounts you create, you will not be able to sell on ebay again. Unless you apply some tricks that people teach you online to sell on ebay with a new username.

One of the important thing to remember is that they ask you for documents to verify your identity, not necessary mean the restriction on your account will be lifted. After you submit all these documents, if ebay still decides to limit your account or suspend your account, you will have more difficulties getting back to ebay by other username because ebay already has all your personal information.

As I believe that I did nothing wrong to get limited, I submitted all the documents but I still end up being limited now. I have tried to contact ebay and today I chatted to an ebay agent, she told me that from my account review, she knows that I do not need to worry much, the team is doing investigation and I still have the chance to sell on ebay again. I hope it is true and I hope it is soon.

Good luck with your choice!

The bad thing about me is that I'm not 18 years old yet and that way I dont want to send my documents to ebay.

Try changing the category you are listing in. Sometimes there are only limit for certain types of products. Put it in a category that is likely not to get any VERO even if it does not relate to your item.

I also got the same limit on my account. I sent the information they requested but they decided the account will remain restricted. I still owe them $90 in fees and they'll charge it soon. Is there anyway to keep them from getting the money from my PP account since I've set up auto payments through PP on eB4y?
