Using another account while one is limited
 

Hey guys, first off I want to say that I am in love with this forum. It has helped me in so many ways aside from the stealth book. You guys are great!!!


But now onto the problem. I opened up a new ebay account, let it aged for one month and then I started listing slowly and built on that. Recently I got a message from ebay saying they tried to call and noone answered so I need to fax in some information.

Well I had them call me back, we chatted and in the end he still wanted me to fax in the info so since I had the information anyways, I faxed in everything they requested; driver license, credit card statement, invoice.

I received a reply back today saying that the limitation is not going to be lifted based off of previous evidence. I can still buy but I can't sell. What gives?!?!

So my questions are:

- Do I have any chance or appealing this and getting my account back given the fact that everything I faxed in was true and legit?

- Does this have anything to do with my internet connection? I use my blackberry as a modem everytime I sign on with my other user profile and the only thing I'm concerned about is that it gives a brand new IP everytime! I'm wondering if that triggers something on ebays end to check on me.

- If they never lift the limitation, is it possible for me to open another ebay account in the same name or different name perhaps and then and sell on that one? If so, would I be able to still use the same paypal account or would I have to open a brand new one as well?

(All of this is considering the fact that I do have separate profiles on my computer and I specifically only use my blackberry for my ebay account)

Was there something I did wrong that led them to track me?! I'm so sick of making accounts and making new items on auctiva (which takes about 16 hours every time) just so ebay could shut it down time after time. Any suggestions to alternatives or solutions would be greatly appreciated!!

You can make as many accounts you want.

Now think about it. Do you think its OK to use the same info? Yes, No, Maybe so? Well its a BIG NO.

EVERY THING NEW NOTHING THE SAME NOTHING THE SAME. Yes I said it 2 times.

if they lift limitation -then yes you can make another account in same details...

in the meantime, make an account that is not linked to limited one..
