please give advice me for reinstate my eBay account
 

[B]hi....i am from sri lanka............my account was suspended by eBay because i try to become a seller.They sent a massage

Please send us all of the following information and we'll review your account:

1) A copy of your driver's license or other government-issued ID that shows your name and address.
2) A copy of a recent credit card statement, bank statement, or utility bill statement clearly showing your name and billing address.

now i have a bank statement and my driver's license ......please tell me how i appeal to reinstate my account. do i want to send only this 2 document or i should attache a request letter or something........?????????

yes if you log back into your account it pop up with the suspension notice and will give you a fax number to appeal, just fax those 2 ID to them with your user name and email address...that should do it...

Never never never never give Ebay your real personal info. So many people on this board will tell you that even after faxing all their personal info, they STILL didn't get reinstated. And then they have extra ways to track you, because you sent in all that stuff.

Its up to you, of course. I sure wouldn't do it. Someone will back me up.

yeah thats all well and good, but many people using their real account get hit with this problem too. If he doesnt send the info, his real details are going to be blacklisted anyway, so whats the difference

You can try sending them the basic minimum?
