Why does and doesn't ebay approve real merchant account dox?

If you have a real merchant account (not google checkout) that gives you paper statements in the mail, what makes ebay approve them and what makes them not?

I have heard that real dox you get in the mail ebay always rejects, but ⊗⊗⊗⊗ dox from a website they usually accept.

Then you heard wrong. Because mines got approved

It doesnt matter if they do contact cause I got a merchant account so I cant answer that question.. Merchants accounts is cheaper andmore reliable then Paypal. Why dont people use them??

Cause eGay wants people to use paypal only so they use the faxing merchant info as a bull**** excuse to force people to use paypal then after you fax them f**ks what they ask for they still wont approve you!

and google is the realest of the merchants out there They kick paypals ass any day and i cant wait for the day google opens a auction site and have google checkout ingreated with it and put ebay in its place once and for all :D

Chris what merchant account do you use? do they accept PayPal as a payment method? what are their commission rates?

He uses Merchant Plus

I did but now I use Electronic Transfer, Inc. credit card processing and merchant accounts.. They are alot cheaper

We need to find a way to get the government to bust ebay and paypal for this.

Ebay is paying the government.

They clearly are paying the United Kingdom government more because they're forcing paypal there more than the USA.

if you were to send in these documents... wouldn't the merchant account only be good on ONE account? if they actually call and verify you'd be making merchant accounts daily (which is not easy)

Anyone have the answer to this question? I'm curious about it as well....
