New account suspension info
 

OK, still testing ebay motors for weakness. Had new ip address, cleared cookies, did all the usually stuff. Opened new account, with someone else's real address from another state and 888 number. Listed common item and got suspended before it hit the search.

They must be cross referencing your ip range and your sign up address to make sure they are from the same area. I had use 888 numbers in the pass, but maybe they need to be from your ip area as well.

Yep, I think this was stated a few times in the forum already. IP tracking is very easy to do. Even with the guide I mentioned it's better to list near your real address. I usually list a few houses or streets away.

But this was probably not the reason for the suspension.

HI- not much experience in ebay motors, but i did have 21 listings over there 2 weeks ago-they all lasted the 7 day auction- i was listing in car/truck parts + access. all listings were for 7 days, all listings were in 2 categories, all listings had extra=flags/tire logo,or highlight...I am on east coast- was listing from acct created from west coast... acct was 35 days old, -0- fb..I then got gready, listed 75 items on a sunday morning, when got home- acct suspended abusing ebay

Kind of doubt that, though.. I've listed addresses in other states before. :D
