eBay account restricted indefinitely
 

I was selling diamond ear rings(new) after 1 month and 100% positive feedback I was restricted indefinitely.. (ebay) called and wanted an ID, bank/credit card statement and invoice of my purchases.. I sent them as they said. After 3 weeks I called ebay about the status. However they stated they reviewed my account and it will remain (limited to buying..) not selling.. I have written several times but they did not tell me the reason and how long that limit will be remained

Can anyone help?

It sounds like you won't be able to use the account ever again for selling. eBay rarely has a good reason for the suspension. It's probably time to start over. I highly suggest you purchase the stealth book, you will be back on in no time.

sounds a little odd, I know diamnd earrings may be classed as high value or risk, but there must be more to it than that...you are either being linked to a previously violating account or there have been other perceived misdemenours in this account?

either way, if youve called them and no luck after a week or so, as lakeman said go ahead and create a non linked account

I have had this happen to me on 4 Accounts with the Same Immediate Result, However I recently on a Hunch RE-FAXED all the documents along with a Letter in one account that was restricted about 8 Months Ago and they Reinstated it.

I am going to let the other 3 sit until about the 8-12 month mark and try with those as well, Who Knows Maybe "Time CAN Heal All Wounds"

are you selling high value items on ebay without EXPLICITLY stating terms like:

CASH ON COLLECTION
TAKING YOUR EBAY NAME NEXT TO THE ITEM
PROVIDING OTHER FORMS OF SAFE PAYMENTS


They can all play an important part...?
