Can I use my US checking account with a Canadian Paypal account? I'm concerned that Paypal could raise a red flag because the routing number would be of an American bank. Has anyone tried to do it?

If you read the first post of this thread, it clearly says you can use a US or Canadian account.:p

For ebay.ca registered accounts to sell ebay*com, does one need a verified paypal account linked to the ebay.ca account? i think that is a requirement to sell internationally, not sure if it applies here though..

If even you don't link your Paypal account with your eBay account, eBay will know what Paypal account you are using, anyway, so I don't see a difference.

I would recommend using a Canadian dial-up instead. Paypal will limit your account if they find out you are using a proxy.

I dont think its the same.... if you link, you are giving ebay the right to your paypal information. otherwise, i dont think paypal can disclose such to ebay even though they are owned by ebay. its part of their privacy user agreement. never link ebay to paypal. that has been discussed in many other threads.

other things to watch out for is use another internet provider like copper.net they always have different ip address each time you log in.
