If I change all info before I get suspended will I be detected?
 

OK, If I go into personal info on Ebay & change everything such as name-address-phone number before I am suspended, Could I register under my original info that I just changed or do they keep all that previous info too? Of course I'd register after all the steps such as changing IP address, etc after they finally suspend me. I just figured it would save some headaches if I could keep my real address, etc. & just let this old account go into suspension with false info. I've never seen this question & I've been reading all these posts for hours now including the ones that lead to this forum!

They keep EVERYTHING. Better to just start a new account and don't look back.

What u r trying to do is actually grounds for suspension or at least a red flag.

Exactly. They will suspend your account if you try to change your main registration information, such as name.

Aah... You know I did just this thing the person was asking.. + I was able to Salvage my OWN acct.. still up -(as a Buying acct though)-- but its now almost 2 yrs old-- I had switched everything into my Business name, /my business partners name, about a year BEFORE they dumped me...
SO- YES, I agree... watch the CHANGES all at once to raise a red flag... I did it the first time I recd a Buyer requesting Personal contact info--just flipped me out...

I have done it on old accounts with no problem,. You know, people do move and when they get married changed their name.

Thanks guys, I guess I have to say goodbye to me & come up with a new me after all. I just wanted to see if I could avoid all that being that I am at war with Ebay right now since they totally screwed me over & I know the suspension is coming cuz I'm not paying seller fees for auctions they took down for something I didn't do. I don't know how well it works to do this, as I've never tried it. I'm just saying it's so easy to make new eBay/PP accounts that it doesn't seem to be even worth it to me. If it's a high-fb account though, I guess I can understand why you'd want to give it a try.

I'll let you know in the next week or so, if they keep your original credit card info after you change it. Ran up a bill and switch from real to VCC before it was due. Now let's see if they try to charge original card after the VCC get rejected. If they do, I can dispute the charge.

LOL are you serious? That's too funny. I knew already that most of eBay's "security" is just a giant bluff, but still that's just hilarious that they would cave in so easily.. XD

You know, its maybe just coincidence, but after I ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bid 10 million or so on some powersellers accounts, a few of my new selling accounts make it through.
