Does Ebay destroy documents immediately?

You know when you fax in your info to eBay to get reinstated, they say that the documents will be destroyed immediately. Do you guys believe that? Or is that a way to lure you to get your ID on file? I'm a little bit worried because I'm planning to fax ebay a photoshoped document.

i doubt they follow through, but california law is they must be destroyed after 1 month

eBay won't destroy it. At the very least they will copy down everything from it and destroy they original.
