ebay account suspended for nonpayment of fees...need advice
 

i didnt pay my fees for 6 months and now it has been sent to a collections agency. at this point, can i just pay using ebay's system or do i have to pay the collection agency itself? if i just pay ebay, will i get my account back, or will i have to contact the CA too?

Just pay through ebay. They will contact the agency and let them know they received the money. If you keep getting calls, tell them to call ebay to verify you made the payment.

I doubt they CA will stop even if you do pay. Most collections agency are bottom feeders that pay commissions to loser, for what ever they can collect. Most just harass you with robo calls and letters to try and get some money. Once you pay ebay you can write and call the CA with the proof of payment and tell them to cease and desist , but I doubt they will stop.

If the collection agency is NCO in the collection letter they sent you it will have a web address that you can use to pay the fees. If you pay them directly then they will notify Ebay within minutes. My girlfriends account recently went through this exact process and within 20 minutes of payment Ebay reinstated the account. This account only owed $50 so depending on how much you owe it is never a certain thing that your account will get reinstated.

Just pay the fees.
