Is it okay for me to close my account when an MC010 has just been issued?

Why would you want to close you account from just a MC010?

Sure it's OK to close your account anytime you want.

All they going to do is ask you some questions, 2 questions!

You need to call EB within 48 hours or you will then have to send then your info like photo ID/Bill etc.... So call EB now don't wait any longer.

Thanks a lot. Not sure if it's different but over here in the U.K. they make you make an appointment, and then you give them a telephone number. Do they do that in the U.S? I think here in the U.K. they call you.

With the 4 digit code they called me.

When I got hit with the MC010 I had to call them, It tells you in the email they sent you, that says MC010

I'm not sure about the appointment, It will be good to set it as fast as you can if this is so.

Don't close out your account because you will get the MC010 on the other account as well, There is nothing you can do to get around it, Sometimes you will get hit with it before you can even sell, sometimes will will takes months.

What usually triggers it, will they ask about my other accounts?

I get the message about verifying every time I log in... they call us in the U.K. not the other way around;

"Follow the instructions on this link to schedule a time for us to call you:"

Then you are provided with a time slot.

Anyone know what questions they ask you?

Nothing triggers the MC010, This is a new way they verify your account, You will always be hit with the MC010, Sometimes before you even start selling, Sometimes in months.

Call eBay and tell them you got a email saying you has to call them and you don't know why you have to call them, act like your lost, They will know what your talking about and will be more then happy to help you.
