Mc010

If I was to ignore the verify message, and they suspended that account would the other accounts under the same ip be banned also?

NTP 06-28-2010 03:24 PM

I would think that it's a good possibility that they would.

Call them, it's not hard. Just have your information about your account in front of you. When in doubt about the multiple choice questions they ask, say "None of the above".

forummember 06-28-2010 03:26 PM

Do the ask anything about other accounts or just the one in question?

NTP 06-28-2010 03:30 PM

They shouldn't ask about your other accounts. But I don't know how you have yours setup. Are they stealth names or all in your name? And if stealth, why are they on the same IP?

I wouldn't volunteer any information to them either way.

forummember 06-28-2010 03:33 PM

All in real details. On the same ip because i've never had a problem yet.

NTP 06-28-2010 03:39 PM

Ok. So obvoisly they are linked.

I think it would look worse on you if you didn't call them to verify the MC010. It seems all new seller accounts are now going to get hit with them eventually.

I would call them. They are trying to weed out the disreputable sellers. If you ignore the notice, it will get suspended, then it could be a domino effect.

forummember 06-28-2010 03:41 PM

Thanks. Once I've answered all the questions do they leave you alone?

I think I told you about 43753896437286457893452034 times!

You have like 5 threads of the same thing! "MC010"

I'm not going to say it again just read your other threads.

they will, but until you will reach your selling limit. I got a call today regarding one of my accounts(1 month and few days old | 950$ sales 30 days) He was concerned that item in retail cost 300% more. Asked for my suppler and told me that in 2 min you will receive a notification of restriction and I`ll need to provide ID, Bank Statement, Invoices. I told him that i bought it on CL. He advised to contact the person it was purchased from to get the source of the product.

I`m selling 3 items a day - around 10$ each AND GOT THIS.

The MC010 dose not have a trigger on it, I've got one the min I tried to post a item for sale, With zero items sold.

Every one will get it sooner or latter.

It's all when EB is up an ready to give it to you.

sergiy 06-28-2010 04:53 PM

Phone verification is on almost all accounts now.(not PIN over the phone)
You have to call eBay and talk to the person.
I have opened 16 acc in last 50 days and 9 of them were limited within 7 days. After phone call all good. You just need to call. It is not a big deal at all.

romeo216 06-29-2010 12:26 AM

What about if ebay asks you...what's your eye color and height on your drivers license then gives you multiple choice answers....it's difficult to get around that.

sergiy 06-29-2010 12:47 AM

They do not know what's your eye color and height on your drivers license.
It is all about how confidante is your answer. If they ask something like that, do not wait for options - speak up and tell the answer with confidence.(tell info from the ID, DL you have ready if you will be asked for one).

I make an account with a name and a city the way, there is no public data on it. Younger is better. Does it make sense?

Are you Kidding? They NEVER Leave you alone, It would be To Easy, if all Ebay did was a simple mc10, It Just would not be any fun.

forummember 06-29-2010 09:55 AM

Basically it didn't go to well and now it looks like a suspension.

NTP 06-29-2010 09:59 AM

What happened? What did they ask you and how did you answer.

This don't tell us anything.

What happen?

How long was it before you called EB? nvm you waited for them to call you.

I bet you have to send them data info, Right?

forummember 06-29-2010 10:41 AM

Sorry that I didn't go too in-depth before.

Basically I phoned eBay because they didn't phone me back like they said they would. The lady on the phone then said that she cant help me with the verification process and said to try the Live Help online, done this twice and both came back with them wanting to me to send in ID etc via fax.

If I don't the account just stays how it was.

thats bs because normally that phone call is very simple and direct and easy.
If she wouldnt talk to you at all there must be more going on.
I opened 4 accounts lately 2 stealth and 2 real and the phone call was the same and almost immediately after I started to list or if I listed several items in a day.
Phone number, email, address--few questions and answers were all no. done in 3 minutes. be nice and it will go smooth. They immediately turn the account back on within minutes but REASON NUMBER 1 ALWAYS BE READY FOR THE CALL BECAUSE THEY WILL CALL then you may not get limited!
1 method that works is to call them constantly. Its risky but it works. I call them about every 2 or 3 days to ask questions like a newbie. I even had a lady give me her personal number to call anytime I have any issues she will help. So it can be done.
Good luck guys hope that helps.
