About using another ebay account

Hey ill make the first thread here! lol.

My questions: Im using someone else's ebay account and Ive been doing good on it and after a week it would say *third party has been accesed blah blah* I got away the first time not having to have them call me. But the second time they blocked my account because I didnt take there call for verification for who I am. The person that own's it is 38 good friend of mine and shes a woman also. I couldnt do the call because the area code wasnt in that area etc.... Is there anyway to bypass that? Maybe if I have ebay contact here cause she knows about it. WIll I be okay? Also what about the ip. Im using a proxy that's in mexico and she lives in usa florida is that bad? How to fix this lol.

Thnx In advance!

x2ruff4u, yes I would have the owner of the account take that call for verification; or if you can find out another way for them to verify who you are. Don't ask them, but look around. Most of the time, you're giving multiple options for verification. Maybe try to use US eBay next time. With an US eBay account there are other ways of verification. If you're using a proxy, eBay won't know where you're connecting from. From what I've seen, that's okay.

Hm I see, ill do that then. But I got another question why did I have that third party pop up on the account. What if I used another ip on a new account and start selling on that, like switching proxies. Would I get that? Cause I dont want to see that.

Reading more about your post, I believe eBay thinks you are an unauthorized 3rd party trying to access the account. Please read this about other eBay users with this same situation: Here

Hello...Yep I am now Suspended and blocked from Ebay. I have read the instructions on how to reset my ip..done that its good. Also, I have deleted all my cookies, browing history...and passwords in internet options..good there too. I set up a new email address and set up a new ebay account. All is good there too. However, Now I am stuck. I don't have that great of a credit score or credit. But want to start selling on freakin ebay again. What do I do from this point. God, I feel like a convict or something, at least thats the way ebay makes ya feel. Can someone give me some insight ??

I would suggest not clearing your cookies. Make a new windows user on your computer to use exclusively for eB. Then all the cookies are clean and intact which is something eB looks for these days. Keep changing the IP.

So what are you stuck with? If you keep all the accounts details unique from the old info that was suspended you should be able to start selling soon. I would suggest buying the Stealth Guide.

@harleygal, you don't need a great credit score or such to begin selling again - what exactly are you worried about?

And yes, makign a new user account is better than clearing cookies and deleting browsing history - safer too.
