Questions about MC011 limitation
 

I just got hit with a MC011 today and I don't know why? I have the account open for 2 months, it's in good standing but they want me to verify stuff I have already verified a month ago!
What is a MC011 exactly?
Also, all of my listings were canceled but my account isn't suspended just limited. I want to call Ebay but what are they going to ask me?

Have you already been asked to provide proof of ID and proof for which you have the items in your possesion for this account?

Hi, yes I opened a new account on May 11th and quickly got hit with the message that I needed to provide invoices, etc. but it was for only one item, a handbag and I am not a business I sell stuff from my home, I shop a lot and am just cleaning out my closets. Now I just called them again and she said I had to just basically reply to the email they sent me since I have already provided them with the information they needed. My account is in excellent standing, all Positives and has been active again for a month and a half. Why would they be requesting this information again?
I just sold a pair of Gucci Sunglasses but for $79.00, could that have flagged my account?

Also, my account is NOT suspended, it just has a selling limitation on it right now, so, I can buy and do everything else except sell.

Perhaps becuase it is Branded items which you are selling is causing this. It should be hit with this for such low value amount. How is it asking you to submit the information?

By Fax or upload it on ebay?

Hi, by Fax and now the list seems to have grown longer since I have emailed them explaining I have verified my identity and also told them two months ago I was not a business, just someone selling off her stuff.
I did list two pairs of Gucci Sunglasses, Authentic only of course but I was only allowed to list 1 in June and 1 in July, 2 Authentic Handbags, an authentic wallet, a movie, a video game, perfume, nothing huge at all, so, I'm thinking maybe it's because I was using my friends PP account and they limited her for being high risk but I am appealing that for her. I lost my selling privileges yesterday and PP was limited completely. My Ebay was under my husbands name and PP was under my friends name, is that was suspended her PP and limited my Ebay?

This is the list of things now that they want, meanwhile, I can't even provide a few of them! I am not a business, I no longer have receipts, it's just ridiculous.

We understand that you do not consider yourself a business. However, we
still require documentation from you so that we can verify your identity
and the items you are selling. Without this information we cannot
continue with your appeal.
We understand that you are selling items around the house, however much
of the items you were selling such as the apparel you listed are new
with tags and we require receipts or invoices for those new with tags
listings.

In order for us to review your account, I need to ask you to submit all
of the following information by fax (fax number below):

-A readable copy of the driver?s license, front *and* back, or other
government-issued ID.
-A copy of a recent credit card statement. Your billing address should
be visible, along with the first and last four digits of your credit
card number.
-Documentation that shows that you purchased or are in possession of the
item(s) you listed for sale on eBay. If you have many items for sale, we
just ask that you send two or three invoices.
-If your ID and credit card statement do not show the address registered
to your eBay account you will need to provide specific documentation,
such as a utility bill or receipt (if address is for a mail forwarding
service) that does.

Important ?
-Make sure that your name and User ID appears on each document that you
submit.
-After you send this information to us, please reply to this message
with a brief note letting us know that the information has been sent.

ok, fax them your DL and Bank Statment. For proof of item take a photo of the item you have listed but make sure you write on a piece of paper your:

USER ID
Full Name as it appears on your eBay A/C
Date

You don't need to submit invoices, if you can't do any of the above tell me why that may be?

Can I black out any part of my husband's drivers license or does it have to show everything? Also, the items I have sold already are all shipped and the items I was selling were only 7 items and they weren't even pricey but I have done this before with them, I took a picture and put my Ebay User ID in front of the handbag I was selling 2 months ago and after they received that they reinstated my account, since it was new I had to do that, why are they asking me for this freaking stuff again? Is it normal for them to ask for all of this a month and a half after I did this with them?
I don't have a bank account, so I don't have a statement and I only have two debit cards from Green dot and WalMart.

I had photos on my auctions, isn't that good enough proof for them?

They are just looking for proof of life. Stand by the stuff with a big smile, thumbs up. Make it look like you are having fun with it.

I've seen sellers use a printed card with user name along with item pictures. That cant hurt avoid this if feasible in your case...

Is the account in your usbands name? if so send over his DL, don't black out anything it don't matter as they won't do anything with it but if u black it out they may think Y?

Take photos of the 7 Items with your USER ID

You must have had a Bank A/C added to PP over a CC on eBay/PP, print the card holder details and send it, make sure its the same as the name on the eBay A/C.

Why are they asking for these? I don't know, probably becuase they are being A******

As for the CC or bank account, when I opened my Ebay account I opened it up with a PP account that I had opened in January & had never used and then I was only able to use it for two weeks and it got suspended, it was probably linked to older suspended accounts, so, PP is the automatic payment method on my Ebay right now but it's under that suspended PP account. I was going to change it over to my husband's debit card number.
My husband only has 1 debit card with his name, what proof do I need to send them for that? I plan on taking pictures of the items and faxing them over to them, thanks.
