If you know who reported you....
 

and they are a seller, what could a person do to get them suspended as well?

I don't sell a lot, had my account since 99 and over 600 feedback. I got a disgruntled bidder from Australia, the only bad bidder from my Christmas bunch, so I know it was them, they also have 2 accounts and were dumb enough to ask questions from both.

I thought about opening a new ID and bidding on everything they have but I'd rather get them suspended!

i was once stalked by a seller on ebay. Twice actually.

First time:
I had the fortune to have a Seller outed by another Nut Job on eBay by chance. From what Nut Job told me, this seller was a (former friend!) of the guy. Their friendship turned sour. This jerk of a Seller, actually happened to live a mile from me (!) who had no job whatsoever except work part time at the local library, open accounts on eBay, and spent his time harassing copyright estates and ebay's Safe Harbor and Customer Service under a variety of ids and names. A worst case scenerio. Nut Job then dropped the sellers' name and address (which happened to be listed)....
I picked up the phone, dialed the guy's number, got an answering machine where I proceeded to threaten him with a restraining order from the DA's office, that I knew who hew was and would go as far as expose him in a manner he would live to regret. And I dared him to do something about it! I even challenged him to a street fight if he wanted! But, I must have put the fear of god into that rat.
However, I was content I had found out who he really was, that I had his address and phone number and job. And if he made any bull moves I'd contact the cyber police and the DA's office.
I kept the emails this shady seller harassed me with and a full proof theory for the police. Evidence.
Turned out the seller had been in trouble with the police many times for stalking and harassing neighbors and such. And of course, kicked off ebay numerous times. He's also still on. He sells bootlegs too. A real piece of work.
And I then told Nut Job to "f*** off" and "go to hell" for starting the mess in the first place by being a rat big mouth bla bla bla. It his medication. They were two fools on medication I bet, 247 internet "No-Lives" harassing sellers.

Would be willing to share info to rid ebay of some slime... Had a Competitor take out 19 accst since August plus my main 4 accts.
He asks questions as a newbie- example--Youre selling a Black Shirt- he hits asks seller a question- dear seller: what color is it?
You reply- Thanks, it is Black, white piping, Thank you.
He then takes your email header- copy/pastes into ms word-- changes the Verbage to something really Gross- suc* my ****, etc. etc.--forwards it to T+Safety-- they take my acct down every time.. I finally caught on to what he was doing- now:
a.) I never answer a buyer email from aol
b.) I always check the box- hide my email from the buyer

How do you know exactly what the competitor was writing to get you suspended?
Does ebay pay attention to the length of email that is listed in the full headers ? Will ebay trust and safety dept look at the account of the person who is reporting the bad email? like if a newbie reports it, will they take it seriously ? I'll definately be experimenting. This is a very interesting subject because getting rid of nasty competition and harassing customers is a top priority.

HI- Ebay Trust + Safety sends you a Partial blacked out version of what you supposedly sent them..
i.e.
"Harassing Members"
" Please do not keep emailing me you F*****g jerk! I am very busy! I will KILL you if you ask another question!

Abusing the Selling Privledge by sending buyers emails such as the above are immediate grounds for suspension.

Does this also work to suspend a buyer, or only sellers? Also, if I already have saved a buyer's email with headers from the past, can I do this from any account.... or I have to first email him or wait for him to find me and email me on a current account... ?

Are you replying inside of or outside of ebay? If you reply inside of ebay, then ebay will have a copy of what you sent on their servers. Though ebay is stupid and lazy and requires you to email them a million times before they actually check.
